To qualify as an investor, an individual must have a net worth of at least CAD$1.6 million, have managerial experience and be willing to make a government-secured investment of CAD$800,000 for a period of five years. Financing of this investment is available through Canadian financial institutions.

- Intend to live in Quebec
- Applicants with French B2 are exempt from cap
- Net worth of $1600,000
- Need to invest $800,000 for 5 years
- 2 Years of experience in the last 5 in legal farming, commercial or industrial business or in a legal professional business where the staff, excluding the investor, occupies at least the equivalent of two fulltime jobs, or for an international agency or a government or one of its departments or agencies.
- Applicants must obtain 40 points out of possible points during selection process.
