Six Canadian provinces, namely Ontario, British Columbia, Quebec, Alberta, Manitoba, and Prince Edward Island, have recently issued invitations for provincial immigration. These efforts form a vital part of the broader context of the Immigration Levels Plan and the Strategic Immigration Program, initiatives that aim to streamline and strengthen the country’s immigration processes.

Here’s the Provincial Immigration Results:

Ontario:

  • 1051 candidates in the Master’s Graduate stream with a minimum score of 43 were invited.
  • 66 candidates in the PhD Graduate stream with a minimum score of 42 were invited.

British Columbia:

  • Over 203 candidates were invited in various categories, including Skilled Workers, International Graduates, Entry-Level, and Semi-Skilled candidates.
  • Specific occupation draws were conducted, with invitations extended to early childhood educators, healthcare professionals, and candidates in other priority occupations.

Quebec:

  • Targets set for skilled workers in 2024 (30,650) and 2025 (31,500).
  • Recent draws targeting multiple trades occupations and candidates in tech, healthcare, and other priority occupations.
  • French language proficiency (Level 7 or higher) was a prerequisite in both draws.

Alberta:

  • 22 candidates invited through the Dedicated Healthcare Pathway with Alberta job offers, with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 326.
  • 100 candidates invited under the Family Connection and Primary Occupation In Demand stream with a minimum CRS score of 369.

Manitoba:

  • 204 candidates invited under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba stream with a minimum score of 768.
  • 65 candidates invited under the Skilled Workers Overseas category with a score of 708.
  • 131 candidates invited from the International Education Stream.

Prince Edward Island:

  • 41 Labour and Express Entry candidates were invited, focusing on healthcare, manufacturing, food processing, and agriculture sectors.

The provincial immigration results signify the proactive efforts undertaken by various provinces to bolster their economies and address labor market demands, thereby offering opportunities for skilled individuals to contribute to Canada’s growth and development.
