Express Entry

From January 2015 Immigration Canada implemented an electronic system called Express Entry in order to manage the Federal Skilled Worker, Canadian Experience Class, Federal Skilled Trades, and some Provincial Nominee Programs.

Step 1- Express Entry Pool Profile Creation

Candidates have to fill out the online forms with all information regarding work experience, education, age, Language proficiency and spousal qualification. Candidates do not have to provide supporting documents during express entry profile creation. Candidates have to be careful during fill the forms, if the forms not fill up properly then profile could be disqualified later. If profile is accepted then it will be in the Express Entry pool for up to 1 year. At the same time Candidates need to register with the Government of Canada’s Job Bank if you do not already have any valid job offer or a nomination from a province or territory. Job Bank is an easy, online job search tool which will connect you with employers and jobs in Canada based on your skills and experience. We make sure that all the forms are filled accurately in order to avoid any future problems for misrepresentation, errors or omissions.

Step- 2 Selection From Pool

Candidates will be given a score using a ranking system based on factors that have been shown to help immigrants prosper in Canada. The higher your score, the more likely you are to be invited to apply for permanent residence. If you are accepted into the Express Entry pool, you should start getting any supporting documents you may need for your application for permanent residence. You could get an Invitation to Apply at any time.

Candidates will have a better chance of being invited to apply if they are nominated by a province or territory or have a valid job offer from an employer in Canada. Candidates will get extra points for these factors. Candidates must updates their profile in every two months.

Step 3- Permanent Residence Application

Immigration Canada will choose the best profiles according to a points system and other factors (such as occupations in demand) on average once or twice a month. If applicants are invited to apply, they have only 60 days to submit your Permanent Residence application online.  All the supporting documents must be submitted and they must be consistent with the forms that you submitted in Stage 1. Since applicants only have 60 days to submit permanent residency application we have implemented a priority system to deal with the Express Entry cases. According to Immigration Canada, once they have received applicant’s complete application they will process it within 6 months.
