Candidates are assessed based on factors like work experience, language skills, education, and age, assigned a Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS), and invited based on the highest scores. IRCC introduced new selection criteria, focusing on professional attributes, leading to categories like healthcare, STEM, trades, and more. These categories aim to address job openings and promote.
